​                  A Note From the Teacher’s Desk

It is a pleasure to welcome your child to second grade. I am a firm believer in the idea that schools and parents should work together for the betterment of children. With this belief in mind, I hope to work closely with each of you to ensure that your child gets as much out of our year together as possible. I don’t have to tell you that a challenging world awaits your child, and I feel that it is our responsibility to work as a team in order to prepare him or her to succeed  as a productive worker, good friend, intelligent consumer, and caring individual. This year is one of many that your child will spend in school, but the possibilities for intellectual and social growth are tremendous. I look forward to an exciting and productive year!
